good morning and welcome to the virtual induction ceremony for the National Junior Honor Society of the Whitney M young Jr Community School rise for the Pledge of Allegiance I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands one nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for all welcome everyone to the 2020 induction of the new members into the Whitney M young Jr Community School chapter of the National Junior Honor Society and National Junior Honor Society inductees ask me to set up criteria the responsibility point average have good attendance exhibit leadership in and out of the classroom and be recommended by there let's congratulate all of our students in our chapter requirements our new members will become part of the Legacy at our school which Institute students who go on excellent high schools in Ark City is Liberty Infinity Innovation and County prep additionally our chapter engages in numerous service projects such as buddy read with kindergarteners during read Across America week fundraisers including pictures with Santa and our annual Haunted Hallway and of course our annual tradition a day in New York City Broadway show greetings parents Guardians sponsors teachers current members of the National Junior Honor Society and are new to the Community score chapter of the National Junior Honor Society assistant principal awesome test of giving a brief history of our chapter here at our school September 2020 will begin our seventh year as a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society are rising 6th and 7th grade students chosen to be inducted examples of the positive culture we are promoting hair at Whitney M young Jr Community School Owen. He's truly exemplify the qualities of car scholarship leadership service and citizenship scholarship exhibit leadership qualities classroom Behavior respect themselves and respect others and they come highly recommended by their teachers will become part of the Legacy at Whitney M young Jr community as a follow in the footsteps of the National Junior Honor Society members who preceded them they will amplify student voice the campaign participate in service projects that will bring them into our community organized and brunch traditional seasonal service projects such as our Haunted Hallway pictures with Santa buddy Reed Earth Day in our chapter also conducts an annual holidays to benefit families in our community in November 2020 our members will conduct a school-wide mock election just as their former National Junior Honor Society members stood in November of 2016 and speaking of traditions are inductees on our yearly trips in New York City where they will have an opportunity to shop have lunch and watch a Broadway show so to our National Junior Honor Society inductees I say welcome and congratulations on your being chosen for membership in the Whitney M young Jr Community School's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society I'm looking forward to a great school year and I'm looking forward to working with each of you thank you and now the pledge for the National Junior Honor Society I pledge to uphold the high purposes of the National Junior Honor Society to which I have been elected I will be true to the principles for which it stands I will be loyal to my school and I will maintain and encourage the high standards of scholarship leadership service citizenship and character each one of our National Junior Honor Society members must exhibit the high standards of scholarship leadership citizenship service and character now to welcome our newest and duck International unit on society we have our 6th 7th and 8th grade teachers I am happy and proud to be a part of this ceremony and allies of my today we recognize the students for the accomplishments and efforts that allow them to be members of such a prestigious being inducted to the National Junior Honor Society the warded so hard-working and dedicated and committed suicide with that being said I recognized Wayne TV screen move to the state of Virginia Dwayne has proudly demonstrated all five pillars of the National Junior Honor Society leadership citizenship and scholarship Dwayne has dedicated countless hours to the school and community service projects thank you for your discipline compassionate and determination you make me proud congratulations Dwayne I love you and welcome to Whitney M young Jr community you are joining your fellow classmates who have demonstrated the same five pillars of the National Junior Honor Society Rihanna Russell Benjamin Lissette Rodriguez Damar younger Joshua Augusta Junaid Augusta Kelis for Alicia Ortiz Williams Madeline Vasquez proud of all of you congratulations and I wish you much success in the near future good afternoon read the names for our new inductees 7th grade Blackwood precious George and Tammy Wyatt congratulations hello this is mr. Jackson and I'm pleased to introduce the newest inductees to the Nash Junior Honor Society for the 6th grade driving no Tenga. She needs to attend Deonte Simmons Melville you are saying and Amelia Williams congratulations again Dave Herman hacking principal first congratulations to All Rise and 7th and 8th grade students who have been inducted in the Whitney M young Jr Community School National Junior Honor way to go and it's only the beginning to you thank you for all the team young families for trusting us with your present and the world's Future Leaders because they all lead us I want to thank the Whitney M young Jr by the council teacher sponsors and the entire team young Community that's everyone out there that's supporting us and the good things we do Juve Roma and Leaders Moving Forward by the National Junior Honor Society member you have a few the build-up one scholarship treat enthusiasm everything you do leadership see the change be the change take action toys that change service not only when it's convenient it needs to be old citizenship not when others are watching all the time when no one's watching character focus on what you can control and always be yourself this is your opportunity the story The Power of your life is the ability to believe what is pop for you and then put that action behind it one day at a time to make your dreams become your reality surround yourself with people who love you support you and always help you grow and remember we believe in you I believe in you once again congratulations and yellow know the address in case you need our help see you soon high PSA National Junior Honor Society this is Catherine Bell and tea with the center for supportive schools and I want to say congratulations on being inducted into the National Junior Honor Society pillars that shows character academics leadership and service have all been shown by each of you so congratulations on your well-deserved appointment and we look forward to great things from each of you take care this is Miss Brent welder position as new members in the National Junior Honor Society congratulations National Junior Honor Society inductees next year leadership we wish you luck and we will miss you Miss feed hello National Junior Honor Society I'm proud of you I'm tired of keep up the great work
